Kelly roller bushing is a petroleum drilling tool. It is a special equipment used by the oil and gas and geological drilling departments to transmit torque in the drilling of oil and gas wells. It is matched with the rotary square shoe. This product is a component that drives the Kelly to rotate in the center of the rotary table. The center is a square hole, and the shape is a steel part with an upper part and a lower circle. It is sleeved on the Kelly and is basically not removed from the Kelly. The four rollers rotate to reduce the friction with the Kelly, extend its life, and can slide on the Kelly. Remove the thread between the Kelly and the lower drill pipe, and it is lifted out of the Kelly together with the Kelly. When the rotary table rotates, the bushing is driven to rotate, and then the Kelly is rotated. The Kelly and the bushing are lifted out of the rotary table, which can make room for lifting and lowering the drill pipe column. In addition to the Kelly bushing, there is also a rotary bushing. It is located between the bushing and the turntable. It is also two large square tiles with the upper and lower round pieces, which can support the slips. When enlarging the diameter of the drill bit or casing, it can be lifted out separately to fully expose the turntable through hole.
The roller Kelly bushing produced and sold by our company Huichi petro has two forms: square drive and four-pin drive. It can adapt to the drilling operations of various types of turntables from 17½ to 37½. By replacing different rollers, it can drive 2½~5¼(6) square drill rods or 3~6 hexagonal drill rods. The roller Kelly bushing has three load series: SD (light), MD (medium) and HD (heavy).
It mainly consists of roof cover, bottom cover, axls pin, roller, fastening bolt and stals, etc.
All technical data and properties of Roller Kelly bushing conform to the requirements of API Spec 7K.
